Stoddard shares how UServeUtah (UServe.utah.gov) helps coordinate Utah volunteers. Utah is the #1 state in volunteerism, almost 3 times the national average in per capita volunteer hours. Stoddard discusses the Service Pledge Drive to provide charities with year-round service support.

Richardson and Briscoe then talk with Missy Larsen about the Utah Refugee Connection (ServeRefugees.org). Larsen shares how Utah’s refugees have a passion for The American Dream. Larsen identifies that the best way to help a refugee is to be a friend.
