Political communications consultant Sasha Clark asks Salt Lake County Recorder Adam Gardiner what does the recorder does (recorder.slco.org). Gardiner discusses the important need to record property records and the steps he’s taking to bring the office into the 21st century. Gardiner reports that his office now accepts payment via credit cards. Previously, only cash and checks were accepted. Clark comforts listeners that Millennials don’t just care about free college.

Clark and Gardiner then talk with State Representative Brad Wilson about the upcoming legislative session. Wilson shares priorities of the House majority caucus, different bills the legislature will consider, and the upcoming retirement of Speaker Greg Hughes.
