They then talk with State Representative Cheryl Acton, who is running a pro-life piece of legislation this session that is drawing significant attention. 

A recent article in The Salt Lake Tribune bemoaned the predominance of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Utah's Legislature and that church's influence on policy in Utah. Michelle Quist recently penned a commentary in rebuttal. Damschen and Quist discuss the issue.
