State Senator Howard Stephenson and Libertas Institute President Connor Boyack talk with Matt Anderson, Director of Coalition for Self-Government in the West. Anderson shares insight into President Trump's pending announcement regarding the Bear's Ears National Monument.

Stephenson and Boyack then interview Marina Lowe, Legislative & Policy Counsel, ACLU of Utah. Lowe discusses Carpenter v. United States which was argued before the U.S. Supreme Court this week. The case challenges whether police can obtain cellphone location records without a warrant and is anticipated to set legal precedent that could affect privacy law for generations. Lowe discusses the connection between this case and the Utah controlled substance database.
