State Auditor John Dougall and Sasha Clark (co-founder, Dicio Group) talk with local defense attorney Ed Brass about the erosions of 4th Amendment protections. Brass discussed the life of a defense attorney and the importance of the defense within our legal system. Brass also discussed the 3rd Party Doctrine and the importance of privacy protections, particularly within our modern society where almost everything is in the “cloud”. Brass also discussed DUI checkpoints and ICE “border” checkpoints (100 miles from the border) which can encompass 2/3 of U.S. citizens.
